   Are you earning on hubpages without creating backlinks?
   
   I see many people creating backlinks and doing keyword research but is anyone earning just by writing many hubs.

   I could show you the profiles of at least three people that say that they don't much backlink.
   
   One of those people, I believe, only uses twitter and G+, and to me - that's not doing much in the way of backlinking. The other two I could show you claim that they do not backlink at all.
   
   Me, I do the minimal backlinking, a few social networks, a few bookmarks, and Best Reviewer, Folk'd, and Redgage.  Oh, let's not forget Digg.
   
   Yes, I could easily join a dozen other backlink sites...I've got better things to do with my time than spin off backlinks into the cyber ether.
   
   I'd rather be creating new content, really.
   
   I think some moderation is in order here - I think backlinking some is fine, and beneficial.  I think that spending too much time doing it is an indication that you know your content isn't up to snuff, and you're only trying to compensate.
   
   Not "YOU," of course.  I don't know you.
   
   Screw the games.  Just do your best, your very effing best, and it should pay off.

   An explanation from me, I joined HP a year ago (late Feb 2011), stuck 18 hubs up and left it for 11 months, just getting back into it, reading loads this last week and what arrives at my mind, im just writing about things I enjoy, of course id love to be an expert with this 'back linking thing' but im not, and the experts charge tons to chat about stuff I don't understand in there strange language.
   
   For me im carrying on where I left off but 'tarting' my old hubs up, learning as I go along that this is enjoyment for me, for me quite alot of humour is abit of a must...

   Natural Backlinks will come automatically if you can refer traffic from other social sites and guest blogging.
