Currently as I said in the other thread ( http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/2406 ) I have decided to setup my own blog on Wordpress but there's a lot more than just clicking on a button to install it with Fantastico panel because you have to install and above all test all the plugins that are necessary to make it truly professional.
So indeed better stick to Hubpages if you are a newbie
But though it's really daunting, I want to do it because I want to experiment Adsense Alternatives, Affiliates Marketing, Networking, Full Customisation, Selling my own ads ... and that requires one's own blog and domain name.

I also have squidoo account, but I will prefer to write more articles on hubpages. Not only that I found it more convenient but its also has high ranking than squidoo (based on alexa.com). And it does matter to me. How about you? What do you think is the best, hubpages or squidoo?
