I use Wikimedia Commons for most of my images. They have just about everything you're looking for and it's easy to use.

I use freedigitalphotos.net. They have a good variety of standard photo selctions but not as varied as Microsoft Photos.  I have tried Wikimedia Commons which also has a pretty good selection.

Wikimedia Commons is my favorite place to get photographs, because its license and usage info is clearly marked.   In Flickr, sometimes the member may mark the photograph as Creative Common, but in reality they may not have the rights to it.

My favourite site for free photos is wikimedia commons free photographs. I find it easy to navigate, which for me is important, if a sites not easy to use it's no fun either.

Google images for me, unless it's a pic I've taken myself.

I use Wikimedia Commons because there are so many photos from a large array of categories. It is rare when you can't find a photo that is appropriate for your hubs. Also, you usually don't have to attach the name of the person who took the photo.

    1. Hi Rosemay - many thanks for the suggestions, I haven't heard of the sites you mention, so will look them up.

    2. Hi Alastar, I will give photobucket a try - I had forgotten about this site and haven't used it before.

Like most other people, wikimedia commons.

I stay away from Google images because the majority of them are copyrighted by someone.
