Does sharing your hubs with google+ and Pin it increase traffic for your hubs?
Yes, sharing your hubs to social media sites will definitely help boast the traffic of your hubs.
Been doing some research the past week and have found that if you share your work on Google +, you have a better chance of it being indexed in a good spot by google, as they consider information on G+ priority because well they own the site... I tested somethings with low view hubs as well on G+ and have found that they now have between 50-100 views a day and about 90% of those views are due to recently posting them to G+.
Just remember to make what ever you post on G+ open to the public to view so that it can be indexed and also so that everyone who uses it can find it.
I would agree with Ghostwolfe. At the very least, posting your Hubs to your G+ will get you more exposure. I've begun to pin a few of my Hubs. I think that that has major potential due to the popularity of Pinterest. If you're photos are high quality and interesting, you should get more hits. Good Luck.

I love HubPages, I feel that I have learned so much here and my confidence in writing non-fiction took such a huge leap when I was invited onto the Apprenticeship program last year. I have met some wonderful people here - both staff and other Hubbers. But as may other people have said, the idling...

The Googlebot visits new hubs within 30-60 minutes while they are in 'Pending' mode and the NOINDEX tag is in place for 24 Hours. This means that the bot does not index the page, and does not return for days or weeks. New pages do not get indexed for days or weeks. This causes lost traffic and lost...

In the past few days my traffic had dropped to 1/3 of what it was. Most of it lost from Google. Besides the latest Panda update, which helped some and hurt others, I am wondering if a change that HubPages just made had had a negative effect...Ten of my hubs that were idle (not featured) have...

A simple question. About 100 pages or so are added to HP every day. Recently HP changed its mind, and allowed thousands of un-featured pages to be indexed. You can see the spikes in the stats in the image, but the stats dropped back to the 'normal' level. I recently added a lot of pages to my HP...
