Can anyone let me know why my profile got a very low HubScore? It is a "1"!
You just joined! Give it some time, it will get much higher eventually
Welcome to Hubpages!
HubScores are low if you've only published a Hub or two. That is on purpose--it's a disincentive for spammers to leave one-off "drive-by" Hubs.
If you continue to publish, you'll see your HubScore rise.

Thanks, both Jason and Misha!
I am definitely not a spammer. Just want to build my business, that's all! I think this site is really cool. And because of this, I will have to sharpen my writing skill again....heeheheheee

Hi there and welcome!
Spend some time browsing other Hubs - you'll find there are plenty of Hubs about how to write HubPages, which will help you set your Hubs up better.
Try splitting your text up into two or three separate capsules so you can add photos and revenue capsules, which will make your Hubs look more appealing. Darkside has written a Hub on Capsules if you need help working out how!
Your hubscore increases
1. When you write original, quality hubs
2. When you get more and more visitors.
3. When they leave comments and ratings
4. When you visit and comment on other hubs.
5. When you leave ratings on other sites.
And when you do the above, you
5. Get more visitors
6. Get more thumbs up and comments
It's like the opposite of a vicious cycle; and it compounds as you keep hubbing.
This is what I discovered so far. This is a very friendly community, and everybody supports everybody else.
All the best.
Even very good quality Hubs start out with a score between 45 and 50, and they gradually improve over time (even if they are sitting about unpublished).
Your average Hub rating affects your Hubber rating, so if your Hubs are good quality, over the next day or two you should see a steady increase.

Can someone tell me what is the 'hub score' please? It seems to have no relevance to the number of page views on my hubs. Thanks!yellowbutterfly

I got like 10 posts stuck in the mid 70's that I want to get to 80 so I can submit them to networks. What are some surefire ways to increase your score without changing everything? I use the same format on two hubs with similar subjects and one gets 93 and the other gets 77...so frustrating.

Hi I've just joined, and was wondering why my hub score is so low. How can I improve it?

My hub scores range from 65 to 87 as of the last time I looked. My average is 73. To me it seems like I have a "C" average. I'm disappointed and discouraged. I am doing everything that is recommend to get a good score. It is disheartening not to get a feedback. For...

I feel good when my score is going up. I feel important and get noticed by others.
