How will you know that a particular hubber has 2 accounts? Is it possible?
I'm not sure why you're asking, but having more than one account is allowed. HubPages does ask people who have more than one account not to do things like go to the forums and "argue with themselves" under the different names. Some people want to have a couple/few different accounts in order to have a niche, or write a certain kind of Hubs in each (maybe something like financial Hubs in one and poetry in the other).
Some people will just be honest about having more than one account, even if they prefer to keep the actual user names to themselves. Many don't even do that, though. Some just say what names they use.
Thanks Lisa for the answer. Just wanted to ask because i think i've seen one question that ask if you are allowed with two different accounts. They said it's okay but there's restrictions on the forums
Yes, you aren't allowed to use all accounts on the forums - just one. If at all one is banned on the forums for a certain period of time then you're not supposed to use the others.
Exact quote from the HP rules "Please stick to a persona in the Forums; using more the one account to post in the same Forum thread is not allowed." It does not mean you cannot use both account in the forums just not the same thread.
Of course, you can. In fact, you can write a hub on anything you want.
I keep two accounts. Leroyworld and leroy64. I set up leroyworld to follow food hubs and publish food hubs. I have not had any problems;but, I also state that I have two accounts in my profile pages.
Hi Snowdrops, JohnGreasyGamer's answer is incorrect and way off base. I have two account as allowed by HP.
http://hubpages.com/faq/#multipleaccounts.
Hubpages asks that you do not use both account simultaneously in the same forum and that you try not to write about the exact same things on both accounts. Other than that you are free to do what you will.
As everyone says it's possible, but honestly why would you want to have to meet two different thresholds for payment and need to "re earn" all of your accomplishments all over again?
I can't imagine having two accounts! I have enough trouble trying to find time to reply to all the lovely comments I get on the one I have. I guess it's useful for some people.

I've always wondered why some Hubbers have more than one account. Is this a good thing or not? The only thing I can think of is that after a person writes many Hubs, it becomes a chore to take care of that one account.

I know you can have more than one account on HubPages. However in talking to someone recently, I realise I'm fuzzy about the rules. Can a staff member comment on the statements below please?I know that when you're posting in a forum thread, you MUST stick to using one...

So I am fairly new here I have a couple accounts on the hub an on a few different platforms for different niche topics. On this account I hit over 25k views in just under my first 2 weeks and that number continues to go up with each new publication. I have also had readers migrate over to my other...

I was just wondering because I'm beginning to have trouble keeping track of all of my hubs and it will just get worse.
