What is your best writing site, besides hubpages?
I did some of my best work for Suite101 before Panda, and enjoyed working for Demand Studios and Brighthub in the past as well. However, I currently put in just as much effort into Knoji as I do HP, and have earned around $125 this month, which is decent considering I did not have too much time to put into my writing.
I honestly believe that the best will always be your own blog. That is if you are willing to stick around long enough to see your hard work actually pay off. This is the stressful part.
Of course sites such as HP are good because others are working to build up the site's reputation. Therefore, you do not have to worry about establishing the actual platform that your articles are hosted on. The down side to this is that you are at the mercy of the site owner, e.g., Panda or any other obstacles that come the site's way effect you and you have no choice but to wait while the site owner figures something out (if they do decide to work things out).
Your own blog will always be your best solution, especially in the long run.
