I answer when I have time and if I think I can contribute something. Some questions I have no clue and will not answer.
I answer at least a couple every day. I don't know why I do it.
I think it's actually- entertaining ! Ahh I sorta wish I could be more sarcastic but HEY who wants banned? Right? It's alllll fun and games until someone Gets BANNED! Rats!:-(
I answer any question I am able to! LOL Seriously, if it has to do with a subject I know nothing about then I probably won't answer it. But if I can, I will!!!
I ask questions and answer them whenever the spirit moves me. If I feel if I can help add clarity, lend a helping hand, or be a source of comfort...that's where it's at for me.
Five or more atleast in a week Ofcourse i choose to answer only where I am able to answer...
I probably answer about six a week usually when I have time and when I'm interested in the question. I sometimes just read the answers and learn something about a subject I know nothing about.
It depends on the questions as to how often I answer. I usually check questions every 1 -2 days. I really enjoy answering questions. Somedays I find really great questions to answer and then there are those other days and questions.... well, you know!!
I'm a little new to HubPages but as I go along and discover more facets of the website, I try new things. In addition to commenting, I've started answering a question or two every day; ones I find interesting. I noticed that my personal hub score seems to go higher the more I do this.
Every couple of days, I will go to the questions and pick pages at random and answer one or two questions on a given page. No set order. If the question has 30 answers, I will skip it. If it has none, I look closer at it, but if it is a subject on which I have no knowledge or one I do not want to fool with, I will skip it.
If a question has no answer and you take the time to answer with your knowledge I am sure the author of that question appreciates your concern and help.
Thank you for your comment. I appreciate your kind words.

Hi everyone,I'm just starting out in the wonderful world of Hubpages questions and answers. I've had a look through the help centre and only found a little info....basically that Q&A's are meant to be a very mini hub type thing, where you can earn the 60% for all views on your Question and...

How often do you vote a hub or an answer to a question down?I've been at HubPages for just over two weeks. I feel hurt if I know I have given a fairly good answer to a question and it gets voted down. I have not yet voted any answer down - if I don't like the answer, I just ignore it. I guess if I...

I thought that the questions would be adding to the hub, thereby making the hub rank better for certain terms. However, that's not the case from what I see. The questions show on the page but not the answers, so the content of the answer is not really on the page, therefore it does not add to the...

What do you think of people who ask a question then use the answers to write a hub? What do you think of people who ask a question (in forums or answer section etc) then use your answers and turn them into a hub? Would it bother you?

So, I understand that the question-answer section is to inspire hubs, BUT it feels a little disingenuous to use the information everyone provided, especially when that information would fit nicely in a list. I asked a question about recipes and received lots of great replies. How do I make a...
