Why am I getting views on an unpublished hub?

    Why am I getting views on an unpublished hub?

    I just wrote a hub, but have not published it and I have 5 views already. Is there any reason and do these views count towards my earnings?

    Every time you preview your Hub, it registers one view. You likely won't earn anything until the Hub has ads on it, but I could be wrong on that point.

      Thanks, I don't recall if I viewed it that many times, but I thought views on your own hub don't get registered. I guess they do.

    Yeahhhh!!!  And how the heck can it got up and down in the ratings if it is *unpublished*??

      I think that has something to do with search engine keyword popularity. Mine will go up if they're unpublished the longer they sit, but I see them go down occasionally.

    Yeah it's your own views, I have to admit I wish there was a way to discount them from overall views so I know which are genuine.

    It's your own visit. I also had the question earlier. Then I saw when save the draft, your full draft is shown. That counts as one view. Again when you edit or add content and save, that also counts as one view. In this way, you're getting visit count every time you edit and save your draft.
