We are all still here for many different reasons. Please rate your hubpages experience. 1=low, 10 = awesome. Please list your reasoning behind your rating.
10: Hubpages is a comfortable, supportive community of high quality writers that give me the courage to write articles for the world. Hub formatting is better than any other site I've seen and the earning opportunities are better too.
I feel that surrounding myself with these top notch authors forces me to up my game and produce high quality work as well, not necessarily to compete, but to keep hubpages in high standing on the internet.
always a 10...its a complete feeling here in hubpages. I do feel great to be here as creativity is what its all about.
I have not seen any advantages to being here. I am retired on SS and am struggling to keep my home. I supplement my SS by selling on eBay and writing. It takes up virtually all of my awake time. While writing and submitting content here may be psychologically rewarding, it does nothing to pay my bills. I have a Google Merchant Center account, and have asked, here, how to attach that to my Hub pages in an attempt to generate income, but nobody has helped me. Trying to get help from Google is impossible. The merchant account, initiated years ago, may as well not exist for all the benefits I derive from it, yet it won't allow me to initiate a new one here.
So, to say that my Hub experience has been anything but neutral would be a definite exageration.
A 10. I've met some great and supportive people here. I appreciate the fact that everyone respects one another as compared to another writing site I was on. Cyber bullying was taking place, so I chose to leave - definitely wanting no part of that.

For me, there have been several things that have surprised me:1. I didn't expect HP to be so much work. Honestly, I came in expecting to churn out a few, quick hubs and make some money. But I quickly learned that in order to really work the system, you have to write detailed hubs and then go about...

I have a hub that was not featured due to problems with quality. How do we know what the quality issue is? I read the rating chart and didn't seem to find anything wrong with the hub in question.

I was talking to my sister tonight about quitting my part time job and she has thought that it was a good move. We talked about the little forty two dollar check each week and she said that that is no big loss. I am surviving on my alimony right now so will be able to survive for ten...

I think I reported an article to Hubpages at the time it was written because it was a personal attack - and it was never removed. I'm not quite sure why. Perhaps it went missing in the action. However, it has just been brought to my attention. The hub's name is "Dedicated to the most negative...

It is against HubPages' rules to inquire about other writer's monthly payments.

I've been with HubPages for 5 years now. I have almost 500 articles and the majority of them are featured. I publish quite frequently and follow all of the rules. I post my articles to facebook and pinterest, I am part of Amazon Associates, and yet I make very little money each month (nothing from...
