Is anyone making $500.00 a month or more on HubPages after all the Google changes?
Just curious as to whether or not it is still possible to make that kind of money here since the Penguin/Panda stuff went down with Google.
A dollar per hub is not too bad......
hehe me too. i have 99 now but hardly have 100 views/day.
July-October I randomly posted about 5 Hubs and all those months made under $5. Once I published a Hub that was high quality in November, all of my Hubs became highlighted or featured. In one month my earnings doubled. As of today I've made over $10.
No, but I wasn't making any money before the Panda Massacre either so for me it's a wash.
Have you noticed any change in traffic since Panda?
Not really, once I reached a certain amount of views-per-day (which is still, admittedly, nothing to brag about) my traffic has more or less held steady ever since. At least it's consistent.
Thank you - I started in the midst of the Panda/Penguin stuff and I am just trying to figure out what effect it has had on HubPages. Keep writing!
Oh, I definitely will -- I figured out pretty early on that I wasn't going to get rich here with the subjects I tend to write about, so I mainly do it for my own amusement.
I am not making this much, but over 10$ a month. It is going to increase beause I have some hubs prepared and next month should be my payout. By the way, I have 50 hubs.
Wow - it's a good thing I like writing.....
I made over $550 from this account last month and about $630 in June... yes it is possible.
That is fabulous! Good job WryLilt!!!! Is that a change since the Panda/Penguin introduction by Google?
Wow!! How did you do that?? Can barely made a dollar everyday.
I had a drop after Panda but it started rising once subdomains were introduced last July and keeps on going. I've also supplemented with a huge drive of Pinterest traffic.
WryLit - thank you for that information. Sounds like you have it figured out! I am going to check out your Hubs and see if I can gleen any ideas for improving my money making odds here.
I've been here going on five weeks, and I'm hovering just under two bucks. From what I've gathered, the best way to get more page views is to join every social networking site in existence and share your HubPages links as often as you can get away with.
Making money in just 5 weeks - sounds like you are off to a good start! Thank you for stopping by.
Well, I have never made anywhere near $500 in a month, but I can say that my earnings have been steadily increasing the last four months. All this without doing any outside promotion of my hubs, so I can say that I am feeling encouraged by my results thus far.
Terrific! That gives me hope, keep writing CJWood71. Thank you for some inspiration.
I was making over $100 a month before Google's little animals took control with one Word press website. I have now dumped that website. The new "version of making money with adsense" that I am using recommends using a hub pages, squidoo, some blogger and social media to drive traffic.
The good thing is there is no monthly hosting or other expenses with hub pages. It is just time you have to put in and as I just got laid off Monday, I have nothing but time on my hands. So this is my little experiment.
By the way, the guys I follow maintain that getting a site ranked for competitive keywords in Google is now next to impossible without links from high PR sites.
On the other hand, they also say that hub pages and Squidoo have authority all on their own! If you put up a good hub or lens it will rank without too much backlinking.
I have also found Ezine articles to be a good source of traffic to my website. I plan on using it for the "hub pages and Squidoo" model I am now testing!
Great information - thank you for sharing - too bad you were laid off. I hope it all works out terrific for you. Hang in there - better things should be coming in the fall.

What are the ways in which one can make $500 from adsense?
by Andrew 14 years ago
I was refraining about talking about this but it really is bad. Last month with adsense was my most profitable month, but this month so far I got 3 clicks...What could have made this change?-New Hubpages Layout?-April 1st Conflicker Virus? I was thinking these two things can't be so harmful to my...

I know, I know, these kind of generic questions are asked too often. Believe me, I tried to look for an answer before posting it in here, but couldn't find one.So here it goes - Is there any one who is making more than $200 here? How much time did it take you to get there? Thank you in advance for...

I've just checked my Analytics and I can see a definite change in my traffic on May 3 and 4. My HubPages account seems to be heading for the toilet again, after recovering all its traffic in the last Panda. All my other sites are affected by 20-30% - some up, some down.It looks...

Is anyone making their living off of Hubpages?Has anyone been able to quit their day job and actually make a living off of HubPages? It seems like a tall order, but some Hubbers seem quite successful.
