Is anyone making $500.00 a month or more on HubPages after all the Google changes?

Just curious as to whether or not it is still possible to make that kind of money here since the Penguin/Panda stuff went down with Google.

July-October I randomly posted about 5 Hubs and all those months made under $5. Once I published a Hub that was high quality in November, all of my Hubs became highlighted or featured. In one month my earnings doubled. As of today I've made over $10.

No, but I wasn't making any money before the Panda Massacre either so for me it's a wash.

Have you noticed any change in traffic since Panda?

Not really, once I reached a certain amount of views-per-day (which is still, admittedly, nothing to brag about) my traffic has more or less held steady ever since. At least it's consistent.

Thank you - I started in the midst of the Panda/Penguin stuff and I am just trying to figure out what effect it has had on HubPages. Keep writing!

Oh, I definitely will -- I figured out pretty early on that I wasn't going to get rich here with the subjects I tend to write about, so I mainly do it for my own amusement.

I am not making this much, but over 10$ a month. It is going to increase beause I have some hubs prepared and next month should be my payout. By the way, I have 50 hubs.

I had a drop after Panda but it started rising once subdomains were introduced last July and keeps on going. I've also supplemented with a huge drive of Pinterest traffic.

I've been here going on five weeks, and I'm hovering just under two bucks. From what I've gathered, the best way to get more page views is to join every social networking site in existence and share your HubPages links as often as you can get away with.

Well, I have never made anywhere near $500 in a month, but I can say that my earnings have been steadily increasing the last four months.  All this without doing any outside promotion of my hubs, so I can say that I am feeling encouraged by my results thus far.

I was making over $100 a month before Google's little animals took control with one Word press website. I have now dumped that website.  The new "version of making money with adsense" that I am using recommends using a hub pages, squidoo, some blogger and social media to drive traffic.

The good thing is there is no monthly hosting or other expenses with hub pages.  It is just time you have to put in and as I just got laid off Monday, I have nothing but time on my hands.  So this is my little experiment.

By the way, the guys I follow maintain that getting a site ranked for competitive keywords in Google is now next to impossible without links from high PR sites.

On the other hand, they also say that hub pages and Squidoo have authority all on their own!  If you put up a good hub or lens it will rank without too much backlinking.

I have also found Ezine articles to be a good source of traffic to my website.  I plan on using it for the "hub pages and Squidoo" model I am now testing!
