What do you do to promote your hubs?

This could have been in the forums but I am not asking for myself, just generally wondering. Once you've published your very latest hub, what happens next? What do you do for promotion and to get more views?

I don't always promote them simply because I get enough comments from my followers and newcomers to my reviews as it is. However because I already have a Facebook profile I sometimes share (not press the Like button) the link there. I don't see sense in joining FB and making a group like "JakeFrost on HP" if you don't have one and such. However, if you do have a profile go nuts and do so if you want to.

Others use sharing on other sites, and just tell people about their articles IRL ^^

Since I'm still a newbie to Hub Pages, and only have about 6 or so followers, I try to generate as much interest as I can within my Facebook and Twitter community by sharing my hubs on those pages. I also tell my friends and family about my hubs in hopes that they will continually show their support and read my hubs.

I promote my hubs using many of the social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter. It makes it quiet easy when you have a lot of followers. Really developing a social media base is key.

Write them, add a "Made for Pinterest" image and leave them be. Google does the rest.

Since I have both a Twitter and Facebook account I use them to promote my Hubpages. I also share them on SocialAdr Bookmarking site.

I share mine on facebook and twitter. I've read somewhere that you've got to promote as much as you write. I'm going to follow that advice. ^_^
