What happened to the facebook sharing button? anyone know?
First we lost the Google+ button, and now the Facebook one, whats next, yikes all the sharing features are slowly but sure disappearing it seems, here on hubpages. Does anyone know whats going on with them cool buttons.
For awhile there were a bunch of share buttons. As you say, the options keep dwindling. If I like a hub a lot, I still share it on Google+ and Facebook by copying and pasting the URL. I hope the HubPages management says why they reduced the share button choices.
I believe I still see the facebook button sometimes. When I go into hubpages, NOT signed in, I see it more often than not. But, when I'm signed in as myself, do not see it. Of course, copying and pasting works very well.
It is still there, sometimes it just takes a while for the hub to upload, and then all the sharing buttons will pop up, so no worries. In His Love, Faith Reaper
I think the FB button is intermittent though, it goes and comes every now and then as Stillwaters707 stated. At least that happens in my digital neck of the woods anyhow, but thanks for the cool answer Faith.
Well, I just noticed on my hub, that the FB button is not on there, at this moment, but as you say, it may be intermittent? Strange. What I do know is that I can pin it on pinterest and then it gives you an option to share on Facebook!
I have not had any Facebook buttons for several days. But, I receive Facebook traffic only when I post a HubNuggets Weekly Hub for reading and voting, so it is not a large loss.

The social network share button in hubs is too small for people to notice.I feel that if it is made larger more people can like/share our hubs, given they like it.

The share buttons seem to be missing from hubs. Anyone else having this problem?

Been trying to share hubs I'm reading with pinterest, twitter, hubpages, etc. The logos usually found on the right side of the page are gone. Have I missed something? Anyone else noticing this too?

I am sure I missed something, my apologies. But what happen to the Google share button? I am really missing it. Anyway to bring it back permanently? All I get to show up, when I read a hub is either twitter or this PinIt. I'm a facebook and google gal, I don't want to...

It's been pointed out on another thread that the voting buttons probably mean people are LESS likely to use the "share" buttons.Hubbers like to support other Hubbers and it's all too easy to hit the voting buttons and think we've done our bit - when in fact, we've done almost...

In our hubfeeds, there's a 'share' button under the hub for sharing hubs with our followers. Are you okay with using this button to share your own hubs with your followers or are you too modest? Is it appropriate to do or is it seen as similar to sharing your hub links which is frowned upon?
