For me to answer this would be too early but for all those who are here for a long time this is for you. Which of the hubbers here would you want to meet personally.

I agree with the Bard, there are too many!

Although it would be cool to meet the staff.

Or go out on the tiles with Goldentoad and/or Pest, Although I think that would result in way to many hubs of embarrassment afterwards. After all, us Brits can drink the Yanks under the table (and some!)

Inspirepub did that.  She flew from Australia to San Francisco to meet the HP staff.  She also met up with Misha. There are pictures somewhere, I think maybe there are in one of her hubs.

Wow -- what a question.  There are several I'd really like to meet -- no, make that more than several. But I imagine that Elena. would be great fun to talk to  -- I'd like to sit on her balcony in Madrid and laugh and laugh and laugh.  Then, a quick flight over to London, where I'd visit LongonGirl and see her Kitsch Korner.  We'd invite Amanda Severn, and Paraglider, and any other folk around, to come spend the day wandering around the Inns of Court and learning about the history of that incredible area of London.  Hmmm.  Then a flight back down to Portugal to see funride, and on to see Iphigenia in France.  We would drink hot chocolate and talk about all the books we've read.  Next, down to South Africa, for a tour from Tonymac and history lessons on civil rights and jazzzzzz.  Then?  Manila, of course, to visit Cris A. and drink endless cups of coffee, talk about the world and its ills, which avatars are really which hubbers. . .and on to Australia, to see Ajcor, and who else is down under? the night owls -- the hubbers who are there while we're asleep. . .BlondePoet?  Next: on to the West Coast of the US.  Now lemme see -- who's there?  GoldenToad, I think?  But I'm not sure I want to visit LA, so we'd get all the West Coast hubbers to meet somewhere in the Pacific NorthWest, somewhere rural and uncluttered, with lots of sunshine for kids to play in.  Then my geography is shot to hell: once it comes to the States in the "middle" of the country, I'm lost, but I would like to see Lita Sorenson and Christopher Reilly and Rochelle Frank, and CCRiter, and ProudMom, and who else? Tom Rubenoff, Jerrilee Wei, KCC Big Country. . . who am I missing? PGRundy of course!  Aya Katz, Sally's Trove, C.S. Alexis. . .goodness, I'm exhausted.  What was the question again?  I know I'm missing some really important people -- RippleMaker: where are you?  Well.  Don't be offended if I left you out.  We'd all go en masse (safety in numbers) and take Pest a care package of beer and pretzels.

And WOW, Teresa!!  I'm honored to be the first on the list!  I promise you, you WOULD laugh and laugh and laugh --but it would happen only after you picked yourself up from the floor after taking a gander at the views from the terrace!  Laugh!  AND we could talk in Spanish!

I never picked up this question in Hubtivity, but now that I've seen it and I'm thinking about it I'm getting dizzy!

Meantime, Teresa, if you're ever in Spain again -- you are most welcome to a bocadillo de tortilla in the terrace!!!  YAY!!!

I think I would just like Teresa to set up the itinerary and tag along to meet all of those she listed. Perhaps could talk her into going to Hong Kong to see Benson Yueng. Of course at some point we might cross paths with Marissa and PattyInglish as well . Yes you are right too many to list.
Might stop first and see if DonnaCSmith  in NC wants to tag along too-- but then she will want us to detour to all the horse people on HP.

Last time we had a girls only party at the terrace it was... how to say it.... better be polite about it smile  It was incredibly bananas!  Women can be such total wild animals while keeping their own company!  Oh god!  I've never seen so much liquour consumed, not when it's mixed company for sure!  And the talk!  It was impossible to get a word in, one just had to raise their voice higher than the rest!

That event was "worse" than the karaoke party we had a few years back were nobody wanted to start singing and then it was impossible to take the mic away from whoever got hold of it!  Geez weez! smile

Anyhow, this Spanish chick is calling it a day -- hasta mañana! I'll be checking this thread for sure!  YAY again!

What a great question! Very smart planning a state by state, country by country tour! Road trip, indeed!
What I think would be interesting is a giant Hubbers Convention. People would come and you would talk to them without knowing who they are. Would their in-person persona match their Hubber persona? Or maybe our nametags for the convention would include our user names/avatars. LOL.

A couple more to add in to the master list (who is coordinating this cribs tour anyway?):
    Constant Walker up in Oregon
SweetiePie and Dorsi, both in CA (different ends of the state, tho)
    Dottie in MA
Zsuzsybee -- I honestly don't know where she is.
    Ralph Deeds, Mark Knowles
    St. James
    MellasViews
Frieda Babbley --NY I think (?)

I'll add more as my brain cells regenerate!!

Oh AEvans!  I'll go out on a limb here and assume you dislike a scary movie...
Anyway, the castle we'll take over is not haunted.  It's one my family owned, before they killed the guys and burned the women they thought were witches, and ran everybody else off to America.... It's an interesting story, and while we're there, let's get my clan's shield off the front gate - the guy who owns it now could only WISH it was his.

Gwendymom~ You and I will check out the scary places.  :p

B.T. Evilpants is fantastic but don't tell him that. His head will swell and he can't get his antlers through the door.

Rochelle and Cris, those are both great ideas, Thanks. I think I still like the idea of the guys going first though, and besides I think AEvans already sealed that deal with a kiss. Don't be afraid GT.

lol!  Garlic necklace...that's for vamps, right?  How crazy - my daughter's watching twilight right now.  I've already heard it enough to know the script:  "Oh, you brought a snack!"

Not as bad as I thought it would be. She's already marked the calendar for New Moon's release.  Because mommy seemingly has unlimited funds... maybe she can get a job by then!

A castle in Scotland sounds good, even if it is haunted.  Course, these scaredy cats wont even stay at a hotel cause it was in a movie, what are they gonna do when MacBeth's ghost comes after them?

LOL, good luck with that. I really liked New Moon. I haven't heard of a release date yet though. I'm still waiting for the harry potter movie. Don't judge me people. I can't help that I like this stuff.

I think she said November for New Moon.  Potter is due out next month isn't it?  I like them too...guilty.  I think it's about time Harry threw down with Hermoine in the deathly gallows or something, don't you?  They really just need to get a room already.
