I am not sure where I am supposed to post my articles and poetry. Can anyone advise me?
Donna, I agree with everyone else - do some reading first and get to know the site.
HubPages is not like a blog, where you post everything in one place. Here you have a profile, where you can tell us something about yourself, and where your Hubs will automatically be listed once you write them. You'll also have Hubs.
Each Hub is a separate article. You've already created your first Hub but haven't put anything in it yet - if you go into "my account" you'll see a list of your Hubs, click on "edit" and you'll be able to put some content in it. You might have just one poem in a Hub, or you might have a few on the same topic.
HubPages can be a bit daunting at first - it's not just a click and write kind of site - but once you've learned the ropes, you'll appreciate the extra features and the extra income!
After you signed in, you can just click 'start a new hub' if you want to post a new artcle. But I suggest that you visit first this link http://hubpages.com/guide/before_first_hub to learn more. You can get information that would help you in making your first hub.
Welcome to hubpages!
Keep in mind that the URL will be the same as the title, and if you change the title later the URL won't change - so be careful about what title you give your Hub. Anything else can always be changed later.
Have you clicked on the "help" button in the upper right. There is lots of very useful info there. It helped me alot when I was starting out.

Today I posted a comment on a hub that confused me. I'm curious if I'm in the wrong here. I was confused by a section of the hub and I said:Why does it say "We sent New York journalist Sam Merrill (whose previous "Playboy Interviews" have included those with Ed Asner, Roy...

Did some of you noticed an option Title tuner in hubpages? It suggests you how to tune your title to get more traffic. It worked for me. There was 3 fold increase in trafic when I just added a key word hubpages suggested me in mzy title

Granted, I am new here, as I was imported from Squidoo. I just saw the Hub of the Day, with the typo in the title. Did I not read that only Hubs that are "opted-in" to Hub Pro editing, can be eligible? I wrote a Hub on exactly the same subject, four years ago or so. It is now on Hub...

I posted this in another thread earlier, so I think it might have been missed.I just posted what I think is my best hub yet, it's getting more traffic and more comments that all my other hubs combined, but it's sitting at a 52 hub score. Have I done something wrong, or am I just being...

Should we use the word "hub" in our hubs? Outsiders might be confused so "article" might be better?I mean people who visit our hubs from search engines and they may have no idea what a "hub" is.

I have been failing miserably with my hub. Not clear as to why! I have utilized an editing tool to some degree to imporve, and though my articles are rating fairly well on the editing programs online, they bomb on Hub. I am at a loss as to how to imporve my hubs. I am at an all time low score of...
