    What does fall smell like to you?

    Fall is my favorite time of year. I swear I can smell fall and the coming winter. What does fall smell like to you, or what smells make you think of fall?

    Oh the aroma and feeling of fall. Fall smells to me like "Football."

    I wouldn't say Fall is my favourite season, but I totally get you when you say you can smell Fall... To me, Fall is the smell the fallen leaves and the early rain and the roasted chestnuts...

    Fall smells like apple cider or the smell of wood burning in the woodstove.

    Fall smells like tea olive blooms for me because the town in which I went to college was covered in the lovely trees. I always have associated the smell of these blooms with returning to college in the fall.
