What one thing have you done that has drastically increased traffic to your Hubs?
I have advertised my hubs on Facebook. Within an hour, I've seen a significant increase of traffic. So that has really worked for me. Please follow me!
I advertise on Facebook, Pinterest, Linked In, my own website www.ariesmoonproductions.com, and send out email blasts, but where I see the most increase is when I get involved in discussions here. Once you start voicing your opinions people get interested in other things you have to say and start checking out your hubs. Just be involved in promoting yourself as much as possible. Do not miss an opportunity to get your name out there. I have even had labels made for the backs of my business cards that have my Hub Page Profile link right on it. I'm a promoter so I hand out my cards all the time. You just never know who might take an interest in something and start promoting you too. I do it all the time when I find something/someone I like.
That's great advice! I'll have to get involved in more discussions around HubPages.
Just so you know dont go crazy with the blasts with backlinks. If you do this too much google will recognize this a spam. It might work for short term views but in the long term it'll hurt you even more.
writers spend the majority of their time writing. however, participating in a writing community is worth the time spent. i agree with the info shared and appreciate the insight.
I post via my "status" on FaceBook. I see jumps on my HubPages stats, but these are not always consistent with what I know to be happening. For example, I might get "likes" or personal messages showing people have read but these aren't always reflected in stats updates. There may be a time lag of course but even accounting for this there are anomalies. (I've also noticed that every time I edit a piece the HP stats show another visitor. Not very helpful.)
Sharing my posts on Facebook has helped increase my views for the post I am sharing too!
sharing on any social networking site will help with traffic increases. however, i havent noticed any increase in impressions or sales. more traffic is always great and the time spent with networking is worth it.

My daily earnings have dropped drastically -- WHY? Is it because HP has pulled ads on my hubs due to the "unfeatured" hubs, which are mostly poems? Are poems not worthy of being featured and getting daily earnings? And WHY does HP decide what should or should not be featured?...

Why did the views of my hubs drastically go down in the beginning of this month? They peaked and then they went down more than 6 times in a single day. Did Google or HubPages did something in the beginning of this month?

Views per day of my hubs decreased drastically. Why?Views per day used to be 500-650 a day till about 10 days ago. Now for the past 10 days it's be in the region of 200-300. Why? and how to get it back?

Hi all. Have been away for a while. Can you please update me to the effect that the niche sites have had on your hubpages if any. Look forward to chatting with you all my fellow hubbers!

Lately, I've received twice the amount of traffic for my hubs yet my earnings from the HP ad program have only increased by a few measely cents. Shouldn't I expect to earn double the amount I would normally earn or at least close to it?
