Gabriella, I think you're confusing this with Helium.
You don't need to start a new topic to create a Hub, as I'm sure you've already found. You just "start a new Hub" on any subject you like, then add it to a Group of your own creation.
If you want to start a new thread in the forums, go to the forum you want and click "post a new topic" in the top right hand corner.
your question has me stumped! I don't have a clue how to answer it, can you rephrase in the form of a question?
LOL...who do you do? I guess it depends on the topic.
That would be me, the official hubpages greeter.
I would like to start a new topic (let's say "what is your experiance with professional skin care treatments?" or any other topic for that matter.
How do I start a new topic and post it on the forum?
I am still new at HUB, less than 10 days so I have more questions than answeres. Thank you all for helping me navigate through the site.
* Click on "All Forums" (blue link above)
* Look on the left side of your screen, You will see a list of Categories.
* Select the one appropriate to the Topic you want to post and take it from there.
I thank you very much Lady_E for your help
I also want to appologize for my initial question that was confusing at best; I needed to find out how to start a new topic and post it, but I wrote "who" instade of How" Thank you all
Hubbers can be brutal when a typo appears...
Welcome to HubPages.
Ron: Where can I apply to be a greeter?
Are you kidding me? I love people with a sense of humore and you were not brutal, just funny.
Thank you all for the helpful tips (and be prepered - since I am not an English native I will probably make more gaffes in the future; not that I am proud of, but could easily happen since there is no spell check on the forums)
What I wanted was to get some information about how to start a thread in the beauty forum.
I already have about 10 hubs now so I know how that process goes; with the help I got from this board now I learned how to start the thread as well and I will do it soon. Thank you again, Gabriella

All of us are different in many ways. We all have different habits; which are both good and bad.I would like to ask, according to you what is the most irritating habit? Be it a kid, adult or an old person, anyone can have an irritating habit. I am just curious. ☺

I just wonder why there are some posters who post a new topic on forums, then leave and no longer participate. They post the original topic then never continue on in the forum. It seems pointless to do so. After all they are usually asking a question, or trying to start up a conversation.Any...

I would like to see a close this thread option given to the person who opens a new thread. This way, if the posts get off of the topic that was originally intended or things get out of hand, the original poster can close the thread, if they wish, and block future comments from being...
