   writing on hub pages is a hobby i will later take it as a earning when i would complete atleat 50 hubs.

   I started writing on hubpages for income. Granted I do love writing even though I do not consider myself to be a great one. I chose hub pages as my host to house my musings. I consider myself to be an investor but to invest you need capital.

      Thanks simpelandcheap for your answer. I also started writing in hub pages for some earnings. Though up to this time i get nothing,i didn't get disappointed . Now i cant stop writing. i think it  turned as a hobby.

   I started writing here, because I enjoy writing and reading and the HP is a great platform to improve and polish one's writing skills. It is a community full of friendly people, with whom I love to interact. In the process I might make some money as well, but there is a long way to go for that.

   I started writing here as a hobby. Earnings are expected only when I will complete a good number of hubs. As of now Im loving this platform and the people around for the encouragement that I get here. Way to go...to actually start earning from HP.

   Hobby. Writing was all I had to hold onto in high school and I still enjoy writing, even though there is little time for stories right now. This way I can indulge in what I adore.

    I write for inspiration...not for a paycheck. Perhaps one day I will explore the possibilities of writing for money, but for now, I will continue to participate as long as I find it pleasurable and worth my time.

    WELL, I STARTED TO WRITE ON HUB PAGES TO CONVEY MY THOUGHTS AND IDEAS TO EVERY ONE . I AM FROM A REMOTE VILLAGE OF KERALA WITH GREENS AND LAKES WHERE WE PRACTICE TRADITIONAL FORMS OF KERALA CULTURE AND COOK TRADITIONAL FOODS , SO I WISH TO PRESENT THESE THINGS TO OTHERS WHICH COULD BE USEFUL FOR  THEM TO ANY EXTENT..
