Is anyone else like me and starting to find Hub pages an excellent source of information?
For example, I have been thinking about how to use Twitter in our business. Search hubs pages and up comes some excellent practical approaches from other hubbers ( absolutely guarantee none are mine). There are so many other examples, it is actually getting to the point that I search hub pages first before going to a google etc.
Absolutely ... and therein lies the magic of the site. By recognizing members for great content (via higher hub scores) the site promotes a greater wealth of high-quality information.
And interestingly enough ... I see more and more Google searches leading to hubs here in Hubpages. Now that says a lot for this community.
Keep writing and reading ... and enjoying the wealth of info around you!
Hubs are not simply the web articles. Most of the hubs are complete project work. It gives lot of satisfaction to the hubbers when someone thanks and comments that your hub has helped the visitors (mostly students) to complete their project work or assignments.
Hubpages is my #1 source for information and links. It's my second home. What I like is that there is a broad amount of information available so you can get both sides of the issue or a second opinion. Hubpages is a place where talented people can share their thoughts, experiences, and information without a bunch of 'clutter'. Intelligent answers abound. The best place on the internet!
Indeed it is, and beyond that it's a great place to have a sensible cyber-fight! LOL
I agree, this is a very educational site. As a matter of fact I've bookmarked so many hubs, that I find it hard to navigate my bookmarks. I've actually used some of the recipes more than once. I just read a very good hub on the benefits of drinking tea, that was invaluable. I could go on and on, but suffice it to say, I reiterate, it is very educational.
Yes, and I am constantly amazed at the varied number of topics i can find on this site. There seems to be just about everything in the world out here and you will find something about nearly every thing on it. Now i make it a point to search on hub pages first even above Google at times!
Yes, and no. There are a lot of information quality problems with HubPages, just like there are with Wikipedia. I am a research professional and I have just written an article on this very topic! See my profile. The article is called " Is HubPages a Good Information Source?" Check it out!
I think it is a good source, but like all sources, needs to be checked from other angles sometimes; which is what I just wrote in answer to a similar question about using Wiki to gather info.
This kind of question is the bottom line one in the Religion/Spirituality group about the reliability of the Bible that's been going on for 2,000 years around the world in all sorts of forums...if that's the right form of the plural.
Here's a question, if "datum" becomes "data," should "forum" be "fora" in the plural? Enjoy the day!

I was refraining about talking about this but it really is bad. Last month with adsense was my most profitable month, but this month so far I got 3 clicks...What could have made this change?-New Hubpages Layout?-April 1st Conflicker Virus? I was thinking these two things can't be so harmful to my...

Does everyone have their audio on while surfing Hubpages? Has anyone recently noticed the sound of kiddies playing outside, "OKAAYYYYYY" and its time for dinner. I'm wondering who is there with me and when it interferes with other sounds and activities, then I realize.... what this is.

Back in November I wrote a novel has part of NaNoWriMo. Is there anyone else in the same boat? If so, what do you plan on doing with your unpublished novel? Also I am possibly interested in either Beta readers or novel swaps and thought that the HubPages community could be possibly a good place to...
