Do you have a specific time of day that you write hubs?
My times vary, sometimes in the morning or late at night... when I get an idea I often go with it. What about you?
I enjoy writing late at night when everything is quiet and still. I can concentrate better without the distractions of TV or conversations. For me late is the best time.
I have tried that but find my mind is tired by that time. Glad you have a strategy that works for you.
I don have a specific time to write. I can write anytime when i get time.
Thanks.
Mostly in the very early morning. I seem to be more energetic, sharper and I like the darkness and quiet.
Hi Carol, thanks for your answer. Keep smiling
I have no specific time, other than finding times of the day when its quiet.
This is my startegy. When I get things done around the home, I can then think and write. Usually, it's late at night or early in the morning.
Quiet is indeed important. The more interruptions, the harder the process is. Thanks tips and teaches!
Though I will write any time, I have set aside the early morning hours specifically. That way if the days interruptions should appear (which they always do) I will at least have had some time to write in the morning. On a quiet day I will sit down and write again in the early evening, sometimes late evening....but my mornings are just for writing.
Good idea to write at the start of day - I do that but not every day
I usually write a hub in the late afternoon, but I don't know why. Maybe its because I get ideas during the day.
Morning, afternoon, evening, late night...u name it...I write in the heat of the moment depending on when and where I will get an idea. Kinda hard to write in afternoons though, with kids playing outside n all.
Hi ChristyWrites!..
Hey I have to write when I am inspired to write.. and I have to be careful that I am, for if not i lose my concentration, and purpose in the subject I am writing about. sometimes I have been able to identify the source of the inspiration, ( name it) and sometimes I have not. So, at whatever time of day I am relaxed, I write, or if it feels urgent at a certain time, I better go write, before I lose the desire to even write about that particular subject. Can I say its being a little like a word- artist? and though I will say that late evening and even into the night hours is a desirable time for me to write. - oscarlites
Hey Oscar, you are right that sometimes I lose my motivation and feel an urge to write at a specific moment. I understand that.
I don't have any specific time whenever ideas flow in mind there is time to write down the points and later on whenever time permits do the computer work.
Night and weekends are the only time when I write my hubs, it's more like my calling plan that says free nights and weekends
I write mostly on weekends and sometimes in the evening if I'm not too tired after work. If I didn't work, I'd probably write in the mornings too.

It was for me, for years, the middle of the night. But not so now. What about you?

What is your favorite time of day or night to write? Is there a certain time of day when the words flow better for you? Mine is usually sunrise or sunset or really late at night.

Are there specific time you write? If so, why?

I don't just mean hubpages, though that counts, too. I mean when you feel that creative urge and you want to sit down and let the language flow until something beautiful comes out, whether it's a short story, a bit of a novel, a poem or, yes, a hub.

When is the best time of day for you and your writing?Does your writing come most in the morning or evening? What is the setting that is most conducive to writing in your experience?

So, evidently this was booted off the questions, and thus I repeat it here: does anyone else get up in the middle of the night to write?
