What is the relationship between In-page links and chances of having adSense links to the same URL?
Does including links inhibit advertisers from bidding to have an ad on my pages? For instance, if I link to amazon.com, would Amazon refrain from adding an ad on my Hub page?
Amazon doesn't advertise through Google, so don't worry about that particular company. The Amazon product links are something you include yourself via the Amazon module.
It's an interesting question though.
Since Google ads are often locally targetted, it's unlikely that you would ever manually include a link in your hub that could possibly appear as a Google ad link. Readers in different states and different countries see different ads than you do. If the Google Adsense algorithm did have a mechanism that prevented an ad link from showing because it was already linked in the text, then that ad would just be replaced by something very very similar.
Amazon does not have ads on Google as well as Google to Amazon and its affiliate linking usually through a Hub, there is a mutually beneficial relationship.

I have been using HP for over 7 years now, and I do make a few bucks from my writings. I can say that you will never get rich or even make a living off of HP, but you can make enough to, as I tell friends, "go out to dinner a couple of times a month". But my point here is that as I watch...

I have been on hubpages for two months. I have read multiple articles on SEO and backlinking. Ninety percent of my hubs do not have backlinking. But I choose for a while to say no backlinking. It was "different" I thought and "original". ...
