Question about groups.
Exactly how do groups work? Is there any benefit to using them in terms of traffic and SEO? Any information about groups will be highly appreciated.
Groups are managed under My Account - Hubs - Groups.
You create groups of your own choosing, put each hub in a group, and then put the hubs in a group in an order that you like. This has four functions:
1) It helps you keep your hubs organized for yourself.
2) If you want your readers to see a set of related articles, or a series (an ordered set), you can arrange it. (Series can include chapters of a longer story or novel, but it also has wider uses.)
3) If you see a set of articles as related, even though they cross into different HubPages topics, you can keep them together. For example, in writing about Go Green, I had hubs that focused on both overpopulation and toxic waste. Two different topics, both in the same group.
4) At the bottom of each Hub, the HubPages website automatically displays the previous and next hub within the group, so readers can follow the series.
There is no direct effect on SEO, but there is a beneficial indirect effect. #4 will increase the odds that readers will stay on your sub-domain. The longer they stay, the more Google sees that readers value your sub-domain, and so your organic SEO on Google goes up.

I just created a new hub, and it might be in a category that might not see much traffic. Can I choose more than one category for my hub? I would like to add it to the entertainment category as well.Is it possible to choose several categories for one hub?

I've noticed with a few hubs that for a month they might not get many hits, and then all of a sudden, they start getting outside traffic. Does this mean they've gone up in google rank or that they've maybe just been indexed? Thoughts? Ideas? Nasty comments?

Do you more experienced Hubbers believe writing about controversial topics like politics hurts or help your page traffic? For example, if you disagree with someone's political Hub, will you not visit their other Hubs?

When I joined Hubpages, I was pointed very early on to HubPages' policy on copyrighted images. As I understand it, you're allowed to use:1) Public domain images2) Creative Commons licensed images (honoring the rules of the exact license type)3) Images I made and thus own the copyright to.4) Images...

Does it hurt you SEO-wise to add a extra phrase to your title after the one with your keyword in it? In other wods, if your three word title with the keyword in it is a good one in terms of SEO but you don't think it gives enough info for the reader so you add something to it does that weaken...
