What topic wouldn't be OK to write a hub page about?
What would be inappropriate to write about here on hubpage do you think? Where do you draw the line?
A well written hub is more important than the topic being covered. HubPages has a variety topics from politics, gender relations, and religion. Having said that even if the hub is of high quality and intelligently well written it is possible that Google (ads) may be disabled. However the hub itself remains available to read. I have a hub with the word "cougar" in the title and ads are disabled. I have another hub I recently wrote titled 15 Questions Men Don't Want Women to Ask on A First Date! Ads are disabled on it as well. Honestly I don't see any reason why. None the less I write for the purpose of becoming a better writer and providing help to others. See below an example of a hub whose ads are disabled. http://dashingscorpio.hubpages.com/hub/ … First-Date
The 'content filters' on this site are very sensitive. I had a Hub once that had its Adverts disabled, and it was semi-science related. I contacted HP and the Ads became active again after review, although I later ended up moving the Hub anyway...
Any topic is good to write, ensure the quality for good traffic. Write well article on any topic is good.
The Google AdSense TOS is fairly strict, but some of the obvious things not to write about are sexually explicit content with or without the graphic images and freaky fetishes, along with any subject that promotes the sale of weapons, alcohol, tobacco, drug paraphernalia, etc., and I also think that a Hub filled with hate speech is not allowed - well, especially the type that involves racism, libelous crap, excessive profanity, and so on.
Those are just some of the main ones, but as you can see, there are endless subjects to write about if one can find the motivation and time to do so.

Dear hubteam and fellow hubbers,I have recently posted a hub on how to beat recurrent yeast infections (wastelessproject.hubpages.com/hub/5-home-remedies-to-beat-recurring-yeast-infections). I have to admit that I was really taken aback that a hub would be evaluated as unsuitable for ads just...

I have a hub about homosexuality in monarch butterflies with ads for books on Amazon about homosexuality in animals, however, ads have been disabled and in the warning why details it says: "Because this Hub was identified manually, and not through our automatic filter, this status will not...

Ads on my hub titled "Alex Kelly Rape Case: Talk About Rushing to Judgment! " have been disabled by a moderator. While I do not really care about making money on ads (I'm not even sure what ads I had on the hub) I'm puzzled about this action by HubPages because there remain two ads on my...

Initially perplexed and frustrated, I have quickly decided Hubpages have brilliant web content protection. They blocked a hub I started to write from generating advertising revenue. Why is this good? Well, as genuine as the hub was, relating to Christmas and presents and my teenage daughter, it was...

This week's HubMob has taken more of a consumer, money-spending, self-indulgent shift, which is totally OK with me. You see, this week's HubMob Topic of Products, Products And More Products! Hub about a product that you love or that other people love is designed to appeal to that inner mall-loving,...

Now don't get me wrong, I totally love writing on Hubpages and being a part of the Hubbing community, but I have lost a little heart recently when one hub of mine on "How to Improve Male Fertility" had the ads disabled based on automatic filters. This problem I reported in order to have...
