I think it would be neat to be able to upload audio to the hubpages. For someone like me who does voice overs, it could help a lot.
Also, in the forums, I think it would help if everyone could "favorite" certain hubs and know when there is a new post.

You could upload audio voiceovers, in the form of youtube vidoes, where it's just a static picture and the sound.

But having any sort of audio or music feature on webpages is one of the most loathed on the Internet.

I wouldn't have a problem with it, provided there was NO option to have it play automatically.  That's what's loathed.

A huge proportion of internet users are online at work, and don't want their boss to know.  If they open a site and their PC suddenly starts blaring music, they'll click away from that site pronto and never go back - so you've lost a reader.

I'm not even sure how to work youtube to be honest. haha. Why is it loathed?

Plus, I was more interested in favoriting threads because it's hard to remember which threads to read. That way, you can get notified if someone posts.

For someone like you who does voiceovers, you should give youtube some serious attention. It doesn't have to be video footage, but still shots. And you could your point across.

Is there a site like Youtube that allows people to upload mp3s for streaming audio? If there is then suggest that to HubPages to implement like the Video Capsule. That way HubPages don't have to store the files or burn up the bandwidth.

I know youtube is a huge tool for exposure, but like I said, i need to figure out how to work it. People love to watch voice actors in the studio.

The only 2 places that are worth mentioning are 4shared.com and box.net

    They both stream audio
