   I have just completed my first draft of The Case of Billy B.  I'm going over to a friend to celebrate with some champagne and then I start the huge job of editing.  Luckily, I have two editors, one of whom is Ralwus, who have been editing all the way through.  But now, after the champers, I need to read their suggestions and revise, revise, revise.  NaNoWriMo is done, managed the 50 000 words.  So all is good in the world of Cindy Vine.  Except my roof has just started to leak.  Short rainy season is upon us and the torrential downpours are entering my house.  Enjoy the champers, cheers!

      Well done for you Cindy, I don't know where you do find the time for all your accomplishments.

   Cheers Pretty.  yep Ralwus, you need to check your email.  I'm not too sure of my ending.  Need to sleep on it, it probably needs some work and any suggestions would be good.

   LOL, you've left room for a sequel. That's great. Oh do I remember last spring when you started this and what you told me in an email. Now, here it is finished and in style too! Once you really got going, you got going girl. I am so proud of you right now. It is a good novel and so well done too, I think the characters would be pleased with it as well, the main characters that is. Kudos darling Cindy, kudos. xox

    Thanks guys, just got back from celebrating at a friend's and drank probably two bottles of wine on an empty stomach so am feeling slightly tipsy.  Not something I usually do, but not every day I finish a novel!  I can't wait for tomorrow to begin the revising.  Hey, Ralwus, maybe I can still get it on Amazon before Christmas!

    Princessa, that is good news!  Am now sitting with a coffee, it's morning here, got tomato chutney cooking on the stove (tomatoes from my garden) and I'm ready to start with the second draft.  It's such a big job and now I find I'm procrastinating.  Maybe I need more champagne!
