What length should recipe hubs be?
I added a recipe hub and was just wondering how long they ought to be. I read that hubs should be 500 words or more - but this recipe is only 140 words, and so far it has got the most views of my hubs, and a couple of nice comments. I have thought of some more information I could add to pad it (although not 360 words worth), but I am not sure it would be an improvement.
Are there different rules for recipes than other hubs?
My recipe has been featured too- it started with a score of 55 and has gone up to 75 now which seems good going to me for a few days.
Recipe hubs are a little different. I usually put a short paragraph about when I have used the recipe and how it was received. Other than that, I do not worry about padding a recipe hub. You can only do so much to make it interesting.
Yeah, don't worry so much about the recipe hub. Most recipe hubs are less than 500 words and not much introduction either. Yet, they are still featured in HP because they are special and well sought. Congrats for your score.
