Do You Have Goals For Your Hub Pages Account?
I am a goal setter as I feel it helps me reach higher in my life. My goals for 2013 with hub Pages is to hit 340 hubs ( at 171 now in 2/13) and to reach at least the minimum payout amount of $50 each month.
Anyone else have any specific goals?
Yes, I set small goals to make it more interesting. Then, of course I set larger goals to achieve eventually. I hope.
I am a goal setter, too. And, first let me say that you have very ambitious goals - 340 hubs and minimum payout of $50. You WILL meet these goals simply because you have stated them.
Last year, I met the initial goal I set for myself for my HubPages account. Then, I started venturing out into other things and I lost sight of my HubPages goal.
I'm back! I'm claiming it here and now for all to see. I will have 100 hubs by December 31, 2013. I will easily make the "minimum" payout of $50 each month.
I am retired from the rat race and receiving a fair retirement income, so I don't crave the income I receive from HubPages, but that $50 is a bonus minimum that I expect to receive each month. I don't believe in sharing my personal income with the public. But, my "ultimate" expectation is much higher.
I always achieve my goals when I work at them, so I know I will be happy by the end of this year. Cheers, Karen. You will be happy, too. Here's to success!
My goal is to published 200+ hub & make minimum $50-$70 monthly from the hub. I was joined hub in 2 week ago, & i published 17 hub.
That's a lot of hubs in 2 weeks. That's great. Keep it up and you will see the money.
yes, to find help and or peace in this very frustrating situation
Good goals. I like to keep my goals on things I can control. What can I control on HubPages? How many hubs / blog posts I publish, how many backlinks I create on my personal blog and other properties, whether I remember to tweet / FB / pin / +1 my pages to my people, and if I can make a point each day to be active on the HP community.
Reaching certain payout levels or traffic levels depend on these things. You can't control the next Panda update, or what new policy HubPages will come up with.
I'm trying to make web content and publishing a nearly full time job since I am more or less home with a chronic illness. So the numbers on those issues above may be quite a bit higher than someone who only does this for fun or in their spare time.
I have my goals too and now with my 26 hubs getting around 60-80 views a day my goal is to be able to reach 100 views a day since i do am not able to reach it yet. Also, i have a goal to reach 100 articles before my birthday on May 08..
My goal is to write a hub a day. I tend to do something for a while, then I'm on to something else. Sticking with something for a long time is not my forte, so I'm going to stick with hubpages and try to get one quality hub out per day.
Good for you. I hope that works for you. My personal goal is 3 per week, with a few Hub Challenges thrown in there so I can accomplish more over the course of a year. One per day for a year is too much for me since I have another job.
I have little goals and big goals. I predicted last November (I think) that I will see my first payout in May of 2013. It looks like I will meet that goal. My earnings have been increasing each month, little by little, where I've been hoping to reach $10 per month to reach payout. I'm on track for that as well. As far as number of hubs, my busy life creates stops and starts with my consistent productivity, so I hope to reach 50 hubs by the summer. I will take my time and focus on writing quality hubs. I'm confident that earnings will follow.
Good for you. I hope you reach your goals.
My main goal for writing with Hub Pages is to become a better writer. In order to accomplish this I have set a new goal to write at least two hubs per week. Two weekly hubs isn't a lot of writing but I also have a few blogs and I am close to finishing my first book. I'm hoping my goals will strengthen my self discipline.
Well good for you. I hope you meet your goal and congratulations on your first book. That is quite exciting!
I am a web developer and SEO analyst, my goal is to get my blog and forum ranking to top of Google. To maximize my online income.
As far as Hub page is considered, i will be publishing at least 20-30 articles this week, so that i can get some do-follow links.
Wow, that is quite a goal. I hope you reach all your goals and maximize your online income.

I've been a little down about not having received a payout for nearly two years of participation here, but I'm looking at Triond, another writing site, and I must say how grateful I am for the amount of control I have about how my article looks here at Hub Pages by comparison. When I delete...
