Now is the time for all good hubbers to come to the aid of HubNugget Wannabes everywhere! This week's Hubs are newly de-classified and ready FOR YOUR EYES ONLY - Tell everyone! We must get the word out!
Quick! Here's the link - Read! Vote! - pass it on...
Hey, excuse my ignorance, but what's the whole 'Hub Nugget' thing about?
Not at all! Great question!
Every week the HubNuggets Team goes through all the hubs published that week by hubbers who have been with us 2 months or less.
Then, 10 of the best hubs for that week are chosen as HubNuggets Wannabes. We post them in a Hub where people are encouraged to go and read the hubs and vote one the one they liked the best.
The ten hubbers whose hubs were chosen are encouraged to stir up as much interest in their hub as possible. They can post in on FaceBook, Blog about it, Digg it, Twitter it, however they can think to get the news out about their chance to be a HubNugget. There are only two real no-nos - 1. posting their link in a forum thread (they can talk about their nomination, though) and 2. posting a link to their hub in the HubNuggets Hub.
After the votes are tallied, the top 5 are declared HubNuggets. Their hubs are sent out in the Weekly Hub Pages newsletter, to about 50,000 hubbers. In addition, HubNuggets, even HubNuggets Wannabes, experience increased pages views and a higher profile on HubPages.
Here's a hub by Shirley Anderson that explains it all.
Now, go read the HubNuggets Hub and vote for your favorite!
Not got much idea myself, but I am so chuffed to have one of my hubs chosen to be in the running. I am over the moon really and it doesn't matter much if it doesn't win or come anywhere near winning, just to have been chosen is an honour in itself, so thanks Hubnuggets Team!
There sure were a lots of great hubs to pick from this week. Congrats to all the hubnuggeteers for creating such great articles.
RedElf quite an action filled hub, congrats to you getting your first one live. Enjoyed it.
Congratulations to all the Hubnugget Wannabe Nominees. It comes as shock to most that are nominated as very few hubbers that have been on hubpages for less than two months know about the competition! That does not make it less exciting!
Good luck to all the contestants - May the best Hub win!
Pssst! Over here! The agents are all meeting over at RedElf's hub. Mum's the word!
ZsuZsy Bee, thanks so much! Hope we get lots of action over at the Hub!
Laura, they are a great bunch! It's going to be interesting to see how the voting goes, as it is so hard to choose.

Today I was alerted to a practice I have seen for the first time on Hub Pages. A Hubber, who shall for obvious reasons remain nameless, is shamelessly copying parts of another Hub Page Writer's hubs and posting them up as their own, and even resorting to copying the style of writing and...

Does most of your traffic come from within Hub Pages or from outside Hub Pages?I've noticed that most of my traffic comes from google. I consider this a good thing. However I had been expecting most of my traffic to come from Hub Pages during my first year. I'm wondering if this is similar to...

There have been so may forum threads and posts (some quite offensive to HOD authors), that I would suggest the HOD should be selected by readers votes.Under the "useful, funny, etc." chain, a link: "Vote" would allow a reader to vote for the hub as HOD.The hub that...

I've been a little down about not having received a payout for nearly two years of participation here, but I'm looking at Triond, another writing site, and I must say how grateful I am for the amount of control I have about how my article looks here at Hub Pages by comparison. When I delete...
