How do I highlight words to create links to other hubs?
With the new update, I can't seem to highlight words anymore to link to other hubs. Does anyone know how? I looked in the learning center, didn't see any answers.
The only way that I have found is by using the link in the 'Edit' mode. Copy the link you want to use and click the link. Then it will show you where to paste it.
I don't see a change with the link function.
All I have to do is go to edit the capsule - highlight the word with my cursor - click the "create link" button on the top bar of the open capsule - paste the link. All done.
If this doesn't help, a little more information might help us. Or maybe there's a glitch with your account?
Its weird, its not the capsule, I'm talking about the part where you have the choices of edit, stats, and delete. There used to be a hide links choice where I could highlight a word and several hubs would pop up and I could choose one.....
Oh, I see. That's not a feature I am familiar with. I think I vaguely remember seeing it before. In that case, I know no more.
When you want to link a word or phrase highlight it, then clic on the link symbol or after you publish a hub you can hit suggest links and highlight what you want to link that way.
I know exactly what you mean, it used to be a suggest links button at the top of the page once you were done editing but it has disappeared. However, there is still another way, click the edit bottom to edit your hub, while it is in edit mode, open each section/ paragraph, once open you will see a bunch of buttons at the top of the menu. Highlight the words that you want to link, click on the link button located on top of page in the menu. You will see options to link to other hubs, or to books found on sites like, Amazon, click on the option that works for you. You will see a list of hubs and books to choose from . Once you have taking these steps, you are done. Hope that helps

I give! I've searched the first 3 or 4 pages of "Getting Help" Forum and I've read the entire Link's Capsule section in the Learning Center (http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/using-hubtool). That Hub, by the way, has a large number of Quick Links in it. How do you create a list of topics...

Is it possible to add a feature to links within text and to the photos to opt to have the link open in a new window? This would allow the reader to stay on the original page. Bounce rates rise every time someone leaves a page before reading the entire article, for whatever reason. If relevant links...

After creating 15 hubs, I think it's the right time to start interlinking related hubs to each other. I was wondering, how many fellow hubbers interlink their hubs? Have you experienced a boost in traffic and/or earnings? What's the best method of doing it?
