To post? or not to post? that is the question(s)
if someone leaves you fan mail, but uses the wrong name when addressing you, would you deny the post or go ahead and approve it? lol
Delite: Fan is Fan. Just see that the name is wrongly spelled or is altogether different. If it is altogether different then examine if you like it or not. If you like it then I do not think you need to deny the post.
thank you for your perspective...blessings!
I probably would approve it if the sender's profile reflected a human sent it.
was this me? if I am the guilty party, then approve, lol.
I guess it would depend on the mail and content. For me I am still getting my head wrapped around this Hub thing and mistakes are bound to happen
no dear...it wasn't you but feel free to leave me some fan mail if you would like lol! blessings!
Deny. People look for reasons to lose respect for you. Don't give them one.
thank you for taking time to share your thoughts...blessings!
i chose shadow's answer as the best answer because it leaned the way i was leaning with my thoughts. but it wasn't just about me. the guy called me sandra. maybe i look like a sandra to him, and that's ok. but my name is clearly not sandra, therefore, the gentleman and i would both look like fools if i approved it...in my opinion. so, i have chosen to delete it (then it popped up with a choice of "approve" or "delete forever" so i chose "delete forever" and then the next choice that popped up said "undelete"...WTFrenchfries?? lol).
anyway, i have a few blogs about smoking/quitting smoking. i even made a video about it. the gentleman said he was "battling the evil weed, too" and i think that maybe he read some of those hubs, enjoyed them, and wanted to pay me a compliment, and i appreciate it very much; however, like i said, i'm not sandra, so i will spare both he and i the embarrassment of looking like fools...lol.
however, if he happens across all of this, realizes it was him, and leaves me a new fan mail addressed appropriately, i will approve it and no one will be the wiser...or that's the plan anyway. we all make mistakes because we are human, and it's part of our nature. and that's ok.
thank you all for participating...blessings all!
it's ok with me. At least someone is reading my hub , just the wrong name doesn't matter.

I tried to post this in the answers section-where I think the question should be-but I kept being told the question had already been asked by someone else-not true-and I couldn't post it. This is directed only to hubbers who tend to respond to all comments left on their hub, rather than never...

How can I reply directly to someone who posted a comment on my article? There is no "reply" button in sight - only "Approve", "Spam" or "Deny".

When I post a comment to someone's hub including a question and they approve it, but do not answer the question, does that mean they have no manners? In your opinion.

98% of African Americans approve of Obama's job as president, is this a racial or racist component?

Why is it every time I make a comment on a question it says'This question is waiting moderation'

What do you do when you have such a ridiculous comment posted on one of your blogs that you are really tempted to approve it, just so you can blast the reader?Okay, not blast...I've been thinking about "polite" responses I could add. Remarks that would make me look even better :-)When...
