I hope to improve on what I've started so far. Just to be clear... Do I have to be the uploader of videos on youtube that I link to? I will be doing movie reviews and would like to link to their trailers or perhaps if I see a scene to refer to in the review.
No YouTube provides an "embed code" right next to the video to make it easy for people to use videos. Besides, YouTube doesn't even have the rights to half the stuff on there.
Thanks for replying. I know how to link youtube. I just wondered if hubpages require I be the original uploader of whatever video I choose to use.
You can link YouTube videos to your hub. However, I read the terms and conditions of YouTube. The owner of the video has the right to complain to sue anybody who used it for commercial purposes without permission. Since you will be earning something from your article, I suggest that you join the YouTube community so that you can ask direct permission from the owner. Anyway, it is also free to join them.
I hope this would help you.
Welcome to Hubpages!
