    Could Someone Explain Earnings?

I've read all the articles I can find on Hubpages Earnings, and read the official guides, but I can't find any explanation for why I'm not earning money on my hubs.
As far as I understand, each view of the hub counts as an impression.
Each impression earns a small amount of money.
Each click earns a further amount of money.
    Is this correct?
Is there a delay in reporting earning, or perhaps a freeze on earnings until a hubber had passed "boot camp"?

Well, from what I've noticed, you don't get any money until a certain amount of "impressions" has been reached (40, 50, etc the number varies) so clicks are a faster track for money. as for when you'll get the money you earn, you won't receive anything until you've earned a total of adsense's minimum threshold of $100 USD. That's what I've researched jumping between the appropriate adsense and hubpages articles.

      Thanks, TNT Husky, that's helpful.
I was more specifically wondering why Hubpages says my impressions are at zero while I've had at least 10 unique views.

I'm not sure about the impressions idea. I usually earn 3 or 4 cents every 30 or so views is my biggest understanding.

I believe there's more to it than you've stated, but I'm no guru.

Also, be sure to read about the controversy regarding your HubScore and the use of .  Being at 68 makes it tough to be a earner, from what I understand.

It could just be too early to know, I'd only linked my Adsense account yesterday morning.

Okay, I was just jumping the gun: the results were simply pending.  My mistake.

    Thanks for the help!

You might as well rely on Hubpages earnings program, I havenĀ“t received anything from Adsense after 1 month hubbing and 12 hubs. Amazon and ebay are pretty tuff also.

Your first earning report will probably be <.1. Something that freak me out, but it will impprove with every hub that drives traffic.
