Has anyone else been getting lots of spam followers?
I've had a handful of people follow me lately that have no hubs and their profile is basically a spam advertisement. Is this common?
It happens to me in spurts. I never approve comments from anyone who is trying to advertise on my hub by putting a link to their hub or website in the comments. There's not much else we can do to discourage spammers. When a commenter goes to my spam folder automatically, I usually just "delete them forever".

Is anyone else suddenly being bombarded with spam comments?I've never had a problem with spam comments on HubPages before, now suddenly I'm getting slammed with them. I wondered if anyone else is having this problem?

Is anyone else getting spam messages on their hubs?In the past couple of hours, I received three comments on 3 random hubs of mine. The comments have nothing to do with my hubs. I looked up the ip addresses. Two were from the Netherlands. One was from Qatar.

I got this fan mail today which came as a bit of a surprise to me as I don't have any serious articles published on cars, (only my one taking the mickey out of Volvo drivers). I wondered if anyone else had received the same fan mail. I deleted this fan mail because I felt it was not genuine....
