Did hubpages do away with all the hashtags has replace the idea with long 700-1200 length articles?
Hashtags were never used to help search engines find your Hubs. They are different from the tags on blogs, and were used only to produce the Topics menus and Related Hubs on HubPages - they've got a new way to do that now.
As long as its over 1500 words you can demand good traffic. Of course, spread few keywords in your hub.
