How can I check if someone has copied my hub?
Traffic to my hub has just reduced like anything. I am afraid if someone has copied my hub. So how can I check it?
Need your help please.
Take a phrase out of the middle of it - a few sentences and run a google check. You can also look up and use Copyscape.
You can use Google Tools to check it and it's very effective. I wrote a Hub about it and many have found it useful. Sadly, some have seen their Hubs stolen and been able to locate the site where it is. http://hubpages.com/t/222418
Hub is titled - How to find out if your Article has been stolen.
I do what ChristinS does. I take a few sentences out of the middle of the hub, put it in my Google search box and hit enter. I was stunned when I found some of my hubs.
what i did was i copy my hub title and put in the google search. Found my articles elsewhere!

I'm very grateful to Hubpages for putting the little red C on our dashboards to warn us when our content has been copied. It didn't take me too long to hunt down the content thieves on a couple hubs and send out DMCA notices. The offending copies were on blogspot, so I assume Google will zap them...

On a site call "Rewarder" I found the text from a Hub of mine just copied and pasted in as an answer with no link...does this qualify as infringement since it's being used as an answer on one of these types of sites or is this a different beast? It does say at the beginning "by...

If you are seeing a drop in traffic, start checking for more stolen content. After seeing a nice surge in traffic following the latest Panda thing, I suddenly tanked. Stats were not updated quickly, so it took me a bit to realize I was indeed seeing a 'trend.' Sure enough - there...

Not a happy bunny. Following on from finding one of my hubs copied, and filing a DMCA, I've been checking other hubs. One that I did kind of expect to do well has never quite got the traffic I'd hoped. Have just done a check, and found the entire text and my title on six other sites.I am so cheesed...

Please make a note of all of us in several forums that have found so many (or our) hundreds of copied hubs onto other sites. Read the threads because they contain so much information and then DO SOMETHING about it for all of us at Google. NOW.I've only just begun to look for stolen hubs and...
