    Youtube video question

When you add a video (not your own) from Youtube to your Hub, Does each viewing count as a view on Youtube for the original contributer?

If it is not your own video, and it is attached to your hub article, then yes it will give the original creator on you tube another view.

Yes, it counts as a view for the author of the video, but the if someone is watching it through your page, then you got a view in your hubpages account, not for the video, but for the content. So videos are extremely useful and fun engaging .

Yes.  When you add a video on your hub from YouTube, you are still streaming that content from YouTube, and the video contributor will get a hit count from YouTube.  YouTube counts where the hit is coming from.  The image I've included shows how YouTube tracks the hits.  YouTube knows whether the video was seen through youtube's pages, embedded player (e.g. within hubpages), mobile devices, or the originator's own youtube channel.
