Question Regarding Amazon.....
I am attempting to work on my first hub, which I did publish so u can see it and am editing it. How do I choose a product to sell on hub? I went into my affiliate site on amazon and cant figure it out???? Please help.....also is there any video tutorials within hubpages that walk through setting up each step? There should be!!!!
im trying to figure out how to embed a product into a cpsule for amazon on hub and the html code its delivering isnt working
Click your hub then select the "edit" button. Once there, select an Amazon capsule. From there, you can "choose a specific product" or "choose keywords".
If you choose the first one, you have to add the Amazon URL, ASIN or ISBN of your chosen product. To get this, you have to go to the Amazon site and find the product that you want to add to your hub.
Once you have the product URL, just put it on the Amazon capsule then save said capsule. The product should now be featured in your hub.
If you chose the second option, just type in a keyword in the search area of the capsule then select the product area of your choice. Click the "preview Amazon result" to see if the product that shows up is the one that you want to feature in your hub. Save the capsule and said product should show up in your hub.
I don't know about any video tutorials but if you check the HubPages learning center, there are a lot of hubs there that explain how HubPages works. Here's the link for that: http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/contents . Hope this helped.

Janderson just submitted some great suggestions on this thread:http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/126313#post2666393and I think this one deserves a suggestion post on its own. We're always being told to be discriminating with our Amazon capsules - less is more, they must be directly related, etc...

Right now, it feels as if I'm in a headlock with one moderator, over one product capsule.Team Hub Pages suggested I post here for suggestions on improving my hub with the most traffic. it was recently edited and several product capsules were removed. Then I put them back in. Then it was unfeatured...

My most recently snipped hub is about a specific product that is not readily available in stores. It used to have an amazon capsule, but that was deleted courtesy of HubPro a while back. Made no sense to me at the time because I've had multiple sales through amazon for that product, but I didn't...

For my first hub I asked my mom if it would be alright for me to do a review of her book. She agreed and I wrote one up. I intended to post a link from my hub to her book on amazon, however, upon further reading I read it is generally a good idea to have one or two hubs already posted before I try...
