   I think that hubpages needs a chat box. What do you think?
   also i don't think that it should be just one chat box cause there are so many people on this site. They should probably be split into different forums e.g. hubbers hangout chat box, sandpit cat box ect.

      I agree with you, a chatbox for hubbers would be more specific to hubpages people - and we wouldn't be restricted to those little boxes like twitter, or have to page through all the games and photo posts as on fb, plus we would already kind of know each other through each other's hubs. It wouldn't be open to the whole world and get real weirdos that disrupt and pervert the chats! What harm would it do?  you people say it would be bad, but you don't say why?  Why do you think it would be bad? Give us some reasons!

         1 of the reasons is that everybody will be chatting, and less posts will be written. And chats are private ,so you can't share.
         Also people would get involved more personally and a lot of trouble will begin

               I know what that is! If you like it, you can have it wherever you like.So why in here. I manage to chat with people trough the threads without problem. I leave messages as well

                  you could have a shoutbox somewhere else but hubbers wouldn't know about it and how would they?  a chatbox on hubpages would be accessible only to other hubbers and would be seen by them, you wouldn't have to go there if you didn't want to.  The Last post forum is getting cumbersome and had over 22000 posts on it that have to load each time you go in and out!

                     shoutboxes can be made accessible only to registered hubpages users i know cause i used to run a website and i had one but u had to be registered to use it

   Please no chats in Hubpages
   
   There are a few of us who have become friends and we do talk outside of Hubpages but I think a chat box would be a big mistake that would not be good for Hubpages.
