Who is Mentalist Acer? Acer has been here for 4 yrs. but no Hubs?
I noticed that Acer has many followers and followees but no Hubs - then I looked and saw Q&A and Forums were many. Can you believe that?
The forums and Q&A sections around here are fairly active. For some people that is their main interest. Actually I haven't published a hub in a long time, but am here almost every single day and usually answer a question or two.
I think there are also some people who have moved their work off of Hubpages for whatever reasons. That would seem to be the case with Mentalist Acer. You can see a list of some of their once published hubs here: http://www.networkedblogs.com/blog/ment … n_hubpages
I seem to remember that person being around and being quite popular, but it has been awhile.
I agree with Junkseller, I come and browse the Q&A and forums, but its been a while since I've written anything. I think I get more feedback information from the forums and Q&A to use in other things I have my website for my business. I like to try to keep it articulated to draw in customers and now I'm helping a family member start their business and working on their website. A lot of times just listening/reading you can gain the greatest knowledge.
Fenique and junkseller, both of you say that you have not written for quite a while. That means that each has contributed past Hubs of some quantity in the past.
Mentalist Acer was a unique starman kind of poet and good guy from Louisiana. He just up and disappeared couple years ago it seemed like. Always wondered what happened to him.
How recent are his Q&A and forum posts, Examiner-1?
Thanks Alastar. His questions and forums were 2-4 years ago. I had not looked at that before. I was curious because he showed up as one I may be interested in, but when I looked at his profile I saw no Hubs with 300+ followers. It made me wonder.

There are some original hubbers/writers, who have made many comments/complaints that their revenue has dropped substantially compared to when they first started, alongside the fact that they are finding it harder to get their articles published on HB. It would be interesting to know if in fact,it is...

Is it all to do with forum politics? The reason for Cosette leaving has just been made clear to me on the 'Pedantic Hubpages' blog post. I am somewhat dissapointed with the result of that, much more dissapointed to lose a hubber that I considered a friend for no apparent reason. A little hurt and...

I want to meet some of our new hubbers and read their hubs, and lately I only recognize a few hubbers. Who are you? How long have you been on hubpages? How do you feel about hubpages? Am I one of your followers? I will be if you let me know who you are! My real name is...

I was just curious. I have not seen a lot of hubbers that have been here at Hubpages for over two years..perhaps they are too busy hubbing away!

I have noticed that the majority of the answers to the various posts I have read are by individuals with high Hub scores - and by a fairly small group of individuals, too. So, I deduce these answers are accurate, and they know what they're talking about (at least related to the posts I have...
