See, I do revisit Hubs, at which I've left comments. I am interested in seeing if they responded to my comment. It tells a lot about the writer, which is a whole other story.
However, I was also under the impression that the comment section was an area where other people can ask questions of the author? Abuse of this priviledge can be seen. I've multiple comments from the same person, as though, we were in a forum? And, my initial response was - Yikes! - that would seriously make for some long, long, long Hubs. If there are 1000 comments, that seriously make the page longer and even longer to get to the comment section.
So, as you can see, there are couple of different views about how the comment section is to be used? I don't think there is yet a universal code of ethics for leaving a comment. I know the Hubber Community has respect for one another, at least some do, and are honest when they do leave comments. I'm not judging anyone who leaves a comment, I just wanted to point the use of them in general. Not, everyone thinks they are used, as the community does. And, then you have some people who are just down-right nasty. Those are immediately distributed to the the trash bin.
I am unsure, if anything I just rambled is going to make sense, because I didn't reread what was typed before posting. Should you have questions, feel free.
