    Can I copy paste some articles from a book and post it here on hubpages?

    Im not a writer, im not good in english but I love reading books alot so I intend to do is post my favorite articles and stories from my favorite books and post it here on hubs.Would that be okay? if not, what am I gonna do so I can legally post my favorite articles here from my books?Can I just put quote and quote? Please advise..thank you

    You cannot post anything on HubPages that is not your original content.

    That is called plagiarism.  This isn't a bookmarking site hon, it's a writing site.  If you want to keep digital copies of your favorite articles and stories, you should probably do that on your own PC. 

    You can quote a small passage and write about it and what it means to you,  but to post whole articles and stories that belong to others is a very big no no!

    I believe snippets of quotes from different sources are fine. However, you definitely cannot have a whole article in quotes. More than 90% of the article should be your original content, free of any copied materials.
