Bloggers- do you link from your hubpages to your blog and viceversa? Do you find it helps traffic?
In short: yes and yes.
But you have to produce good content on both sides and sometimes it takes some time. I have several blogs where it took months to pick traffic from search engines. Now, when I know few things about keyword research, it is much easier. If you don't have authority on hubs or blogs, nothing will happen.
I moved all of my hubs on herbs to my own website last year. I do link between that site and HP when appropriate. The links don't generate significant traffic, but I think it's important that people know that my gardening portfolio spans two sites.
