Need help making Amazon Associates Hub Pages Program active?
I've followed directions to set it up and saved the changes, but it's still not listed as active under my earnings, except for external affiliates with my ID code. Any ideas, while I want to keep my Amazon Associates account for my book blog at the same time.
If you are using your own affiliate code, it should say active. If you are part of HP Amazon program HP puts in code. Both will not show as active.
If part of HP program, use your personal Amazon account through text links.
Hi Linda. It says this: Not Active (but your external code kristenhowe.hubpages.com-20 is active) for Hub Pages Program, but active for External Affiliate programs.

Your personal Amazon account is active. You can use capsules.
The one for HP is not active because you have not signed up for it or activated it.
Okay I've been using capsules and haven't made money from it yet. I've signed up for it with adding HP to the Amazon account per instructions to activate it. Did I do something wrong?
You should have started a forum thread instead of Q and A.
Capsules are only good for HP Amazon program, if active.
Then, 2 text links for your own account. No sales, no money.
Either HP program or your account to use with capsules, not both.
Okay Linda. I manage to activate the account and have it now active. So I guess I'm all set. Sorry for posting it in the wrong area.
Okay. If HP program is active, use capsules. Text links for your personal. If you have your personal as active and not HP program, then you can use capsules for your own account.
Thanks for helping me out Linda. I've been text linking on my blog since last summer, when I've only earned 39 cents in October. :-(
