I'm trying to add a small hubpage related widget to my hub. It doesnt seem to work when I paste the HTML code in.
Does anyone know if you can do this with Hubs and if so how do I go about it?
I'm trying to post a link as well. How do you put a link into an article?
Just look at the editor in the text capsule. You'll see there is a link symbol - highlight the text you want to link, then click the link symbol, then specify the URL you want the link to refer to.
Or you can use a special link capsule.
Bless you stormy.
I looked for a link symbol but couldn't find one.
I will try again.
Yep, it worked.
You have to highlight the text you want as a link FIRST.
Then the link icon appears.
Extremely cunning. (how user friendly is that?)
I'm afraid it's completely normal. You'll find lots of tools use this method all over the place.
Teach a man to fish . . .
Hello it's me again.
The fishing rod broke!
I did as suggested, highleighted the text to link, and selected the link icon that appeared and the window opened.
I placed the url in its box, put in a title and then realized there wasn't any button/text/anything to accept it. I hit return hoping that would work but nothing happened. I had to close the window and now I'm back here.
I'm missing something.
It's o.k. it was the google toolbar that pushed the page down so I couldn't see the accept button.
