Does adding Amazon or eBay ads to your hubs increase or decrease viewership?

Will adding a couple of amazon or ebay ads make any difference in hub viewership or does it just affect the hub score?

As far as I know from the experience of other users here, overdoing it is definitely not a good thing. Somebody once suggested that not more than 40 or 50 percent of hubs should have Ebay or Amazon links, so this is what I am sticking to. But I do not have enough hubs yet to confirm it.

I never want to overdo it; I just wanted to know if even using a couple makes a difference.

I have found that it really does not make any difference to views unless as already said you overdo it and have the maximum on all your Hubs. One or two will not hurt.

Just follow the rules and you will do fine.

Then adding a couple is likely fine since most hubbers do it anyway. I've barely added any thus far but might put in a few when I edit everything.

Defintely not but don't want to Miss the chance either. Didn't bring in any high traffic. Share media did

That's true plus maybe a couple sales could be made for extra profit.

I have no knowledge regarding views as I do not use these capsules. But, all that I know is there are some rules as to how many capsules are allowed per certain number of words. Overdoing is not permitted. Further too many ads distract your viewers and they may feel uncomfortable. Out of my 30 hubs, I added only 2 or 3 amazon capsules over all till now.

I'd never want to add too many because it would read too much like one large ad. You're doing the smart thing then with only a few capsules, and I think I will too after reading some of these responses.
