No reply feature broken - Some Hub Comments wiped.

    I wonder if anyone can explain why some of my recent hub comments have been wiped.  There was nothing offensive here.

    Also, I cant seem to be able to use the reply feature in the forums.  I will hit the button when responding to comments and all I get is a blank box, as opposed to one containing the original quote/comment.

    Has anyone else had this problem?

      Yep, same thing very annoying too. I lost a few forum posts.

        @earnesthub... your reply button on the forum seems to be working.  Mine isnt.  This is why I respond with' @earnesthub.'

        Comments wiped is really annoying!  I use the comments to check on others hubs so as I can read something new.  I wonder if it is a glitch in the works and whether hubpages are aware?

      You now have to hit the quote button to avoid getting a blank box.

        Oh, hubpages must have changed things.  No point in having a reply button at all really.  Thanks wsp! x

          Actually, they changed things because a lot of people would quote others posts, without actually saying something that was a direct response to a specific comment.  Which made for unnecessarily long threads and comments.  Like when people, for reasons I can't fathom, quote spam posts.

    @Kirstenblog.. it is still not working for me, hense how I have responded to you today.

    Glad all is ok for you.  Concerned at what has happened with me, though.  Particularly the wiping of some of my hub comments.

      what... did you always use the quote button?  I have tended to use the reply.  Then it just suddenly stopped.

      Look at my hubscore Denno! It keeps dropping.  It is hard work keeping this going.  There is little reward, dont you think?
