I get on hubpages to discover I have merely followers now?? come on son!
When I discovered my fans became followers, I felt like I started a cult...kool-aide anyone?
I kinda like The followers...I'm the Fiery One, bearing a bloody red cloak, and the droves FOLLOW me..i make them drink from the fiery streams..they love it...
I think I prefer the term fan more than followers. The term "fan" has, for me, a more positive ring to it. The term "follower", on the other hand, has a more of a negative connotation to me. I would prefer to have fans than followers. I would much prefer that you be my fan than a follower of mine. Just some thoughts.
Drew...where ya' been? You didn't notice that we've been following you for awhile now ?!
Followers has always made me think of stalkers too...but I think I like fiery's notion of disciples much better, I'll go with that
i am a fan of certain hubbers . i don't follow i lead. hub can call it what they want. its their site but take heed . i have a better idea for a creative writing and social interaction venue .

Well, it is and it...

Wouldn't it be great if we could de-fan a follower? If your asking, "why in the world would you want to do that?" Let me tell you. Recently I have been gaining quite a few followers which actually helped push my numbers over 200. That is great. However, most of these people have not only...

In my years on this site I have seen so many people randomly follow me in hopes that I follow them back. And then as soon as I do, if the topics they write on interest me, they delete me from the hubbers they're following?Do you guys really think this makes people want to read and comment on...

Do any of you have people following you, but they have not writen any hubs, yet these people...have some 5-50 people following them? And, do you think that it is possible that these people may copy hubs and try to pass them on as their own?

Gee, thanks admin. Yup, that's sarcasm. I don't mind being another Hubber's fan--not a bit. Fan a lot of folks and try to keep an eye on a fair smidgen of what they produce, too.But FOLLOWER? I AIN'T NOBODY'S FOLLOWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Now HubPages turned into Twitter...
