          i took mine down yesterday, and all the outdoor lights too because i just KNEW i couldn't deal with that today.
          
          i did keep one small string of lights out though, on the library, because i like looking at them.
          
          i don't know why, but i just feel that this is going to be a very good new year for everyone. i feel extremely positive!

    I'm starting off the new year watching Regis and Kelly and weeping They are rerunning a mother's day special where they honor special mothers. The one that got me was a 34 year old woman with 3 and a 6 year old sons who died before the show could take place.

    I will probably keep my tree out all year because it is small, artificial, pink, and I like the way it looks.  Oh well, I guess next year I will not have to decorate.

       My wife has a small tree she keeps out all year, it's her all occasion tree. She decorates it for St Pats Day, Mothers Day and so on...kinda cool and different.

    Today starts a new year, Full of new experiences   and I am on my bed, Watching Family guy, and Trying to keep with my diet.
    My whole dang kitchen is full of food I shouldn't eat @.@ and I am hungry.

    Happy new year fellow hubbers! Hope you all had a wonderful celebration yesterday. Here in Oslo it was -15, snow white and clear skies (perfect fireworks weather!).. got a bit chilly standing around there in the suit (not the adam one...), but the bubbles in my blood made it all better.. and the chocolate fountain they had at the new years party helped aswell. hehehe ;p
    
    Today it's a true blood marathon for my sakes, and later I am going to try to write the seventh episode of my hub thriller series Three Minutes to Midnight.
    
    Love is eternal, welcome to 2010.. have a great decade!

    Well I'm nursing a sore head. Looks like we're watching a CSI:NY marathon season 4. The price I pay for buying spouse DVDs for christmas.

    4)eat less, of better stuff
    5)keep my sense of humor no matter what the boogers do out there!
    6)save money
    7)take a real vacation
    8)shut up and listen
    9)exercise more
    10)learn something new everyday
    
    not necessarily in that order!

    Rang in the New Year with a great book by Iris Johansen and slept late this morning. Got in a good hot shower, put on some warm jammies to lounge in today and am about to start hubbing away.

       That is a very good thing to do!  My fiance had to work all night and I really missed him at midnight.  :-(
       
       Today, he is sleeping while I prepare the munchies and drinks for the Rose Bowl.  The Ducks are playing are we are psyched!

    I have been here and there all day.  I couldn't sleep very long either and got up and wrote a hub inspired by one of the Twilight Zone episodes.  It's called TO SERVE.  Then I played Cafe World and had a cup of coffee.  Then took a nap and here I am on Hub Pages and playing Cafe World! LOL  See a lot of new faces here and will become followers, just because!

    I watched Regis and Kelly today, just as Uninvited Wrtier did.  Watched some of the parades on television but couldn't really get into that. 
    
    Feeling a little blue that the holiday season is over, I always have some post-holiday letdown stuff going on.  New Year's Eve was fine, I didn't overindulge to the extent that it finished me off for today.
    
    New Year's here.  Time to get movin' on some stuff.

    Last night I celebrated with friends and had a wonderful time. I usually make a very short list of "to-do's" for the coming year. I never go over 5 items. 2010 is about newness. 2009 was soul-searching because of losses. Nearly all the people in my life that I see regularly now, I've known less than a year. I still have contact with friends and family that go way back, but it's so telling to me about where I've been and where I'm headed.
    
    My "to-dos" are about health, abundance, love and all this new music I'm writing--to get the videos made and post it, and write hubs about it. Not written, but is a priority is to do a little travel this year with a few friends. Two friends made my birthday and holiday season the best in years, when 2008 was one of the most depressing in memory. So I want to return some of the joy.
    
    A lot in my head. I'm rambling.
    
    Oh, last thing: thank you, everyone, for all your kind words and messages about AEvans top new hubbers of 2009. Sure couldn't see that one coming.
