What are your plans for HubPages in 2016?
More Hubs? Fewer Hubs? Better Hubs? Working on more Views? Actually following the work of more Hubbers? Answering questions? Posing questions of your own for folks to think about and reply to? Getting involved in issues and hot topics? Sharing your expertise and thoughts? Sharing your love and ideals? For all the work of Team HP, you can make a difference.
My "plans" are pretty much the same as they've always been ... post new stuff when I feel like posting new stuff. If the Internet likes it, great. If it doesn't, oh well, write another Hub and try again.
Hopefully it will improve and I can start making money, then I will really participate more.
My plans are to be able to post more hubs, and earn a good reputation. Then once I've got that I can set my sights on maybe trying to cash-out from the hubpages ad programme
I am not sure. Hubpages has changed quite a bit from when I fist started. Now it sent me a notice that if I do not fix my old hubs I may be banned from this site. I should not be forced to do something I do not want to do. I have had some issues in 2015 and have writers block. I really want to write new hubs. I feel my old hubs were good enough to be on this site and than the editors started going through old hubs and unfeatured them. Honestly I thought I deleted the old ones, but they are still listed as unfeatured. So who knows, I may just get thrown off this site and not be here for 2016.

Lately, I have had 11 hubs unfeatured due to Quality Issues. I have assured my hubs do not contain grammatical or spelling errors. I have included relevant video and changed the titles and added new supporting texts and all this to no avail. The HubPages Staff continues to deem my hubs do not...

I have been in touch with the team concerning a hub of mine that was unfeatured due to the fact that I had only HP traffic and no Google traffic and felt this was not fair because my article had been online for years and had more than 1400 total views. This morning I received the following email...

I'm thinking the answer is probably yes?If you have hubs that have been deemed "not featured", for one reason or another, will that factor into lowering your overall score/rating as a HubPages member? Example--let's say your overall rating is 75. If 10 non featured hubs become...

Your arrival has eclipsed a new feature that we were discussing in earnest when the merger was announced.HubberPro is a new feature. In a nutshell, HP has hired 7 excellent editors to help bring our hubs up to snuff. They will be doing fact checking, editorial corrections, updating images...

Let me preface this by stating I am not trying to be mean or a troll. In fact, I avoid the forums because I don't want to get involved. But with so many posts about the topics I'm about to discuss, I wanted to put in my two cents and to offer a reality check to old and new hubbers...

I don't suppose I'm the only person wondering what happens if the machinations - automated or otherwise - lead to HubPages having a much REDUCED income stream from Amazon.Make no mistake - as Google Adsense income dives (which it has been doing consistently for months) - income from Amazon modules...
